Loads of Updates!

Since my mama is in town, I have picked up some extra hours at work, hence the lack of blogs this week. So sorry! But here are a few fun updates on Mr. Jack:

1. This morning the garage door kept going up and down, up and down. My mom couldn't figure out what was going on, that is, until she saw Jack got a hold of the garage door opener!

2. Jack had another baby nightmare last night. It breaks my heart to see him so scared and sad. We brought him into our room, cuddled him like crazy, got him a bottle, and the world is a wonderful place again.

3. I like to think of Jack's sleeping habits as the "triple threat!" He has the Reese ability to sleep in any position, place, light or dark, loud or quiet. He has the Lynch ability to sleep so heavily you would think he's in a coma. And he has the Barnum ability (yes, I know Jack and Kevin aren't genetically connected, but they sure are a lot alike!) to be able to sleep for 12 hours without waking up once.

4. If you tell Jack not to eat something and walk away, he'll eat it. This is how I got him to eat his lunch.

5. Jack just woke up from his nap, so I will blog about his playdate with Pip and Will a little later. TONS of cute pictures, too!

Such A Ham!

I love being a stay-at-home-mom. I know I work nights part-time, but Jack's usually asleep during that time so I get to spend my days with him and I love it. Look at him! He's such a ham! He's so curious and independent, I just love him to pieces.

The past few days have been lazy days. I really need to clean up the house. It's just so nice walking around outside with him or playing with our legos. Then daddy comes home and of course Jack and I want to occupy the same space as him and we basically cuddle him to the point where one could not be cuddled any more.

I was thinking about what life will be like in three years. All of my debts will hopefully be paid off (hopefully!), Jack will be going into pre-school (nooooo!!!!), and who knows what else will be going on at that time. Sometimes I wish I had a crystal ball so I could see what his future holds, but I guess that would ruin all the enjoyment of watching him grow up.

"What's That in Your Mouth?"

So, I thought I would share with all of you a few things I have found in Jack's mouth recently. Makes me wonder what's in his stomach (cringe!).

Ok, lets see here: We have an earring, oh that's nice. Umm, that's a sim card, a plastic ring, a cap to a pen, oh and some sort of screw. Well, that's just splendid!
