Hi!

Wow, remember when I used to blog EVERY day? Now it's amazing if I can fit it in once a week. Blogging is so important to me. I want to document everything that happens in Jack's life. I am just crazy for that tot! So, I really am going to start blogging better. Plus, Grandma Tutu is getting a bit irritated with my lack of pictures. She really likes her daily updates!

Well, we cut off all of Jack's hair. His last haircut before this was back in October. I loved his long locks.. that surfer boy look! But he loves wiping his hands on his head and the food in it was just not happening for me. Aside from that, he never lets me comb his hair so it was getting tangled. So, the hair had to go. Our friends, Nate & Afton, came for a visit last week. Here is the last picture of Jack before we shaved his head. He loves his "Aunt" Nate. She's the bee's knees! (Nate & Afton's mom is Ruby, who watched Jack for the first 6 months of his life while I worked).

I've been working really hard with my new business. My goal for March was to have $1,000 in sales, and with just two days left, I'm at $929 in sales. Almost there! Every month I'm going to raid my goal as well. I have several parties booked in April, plus I get to shadow one of the Executive Directors next month. She just happens to live in Reno so I'm very lucky!! I can't wait to be able to do my shadowing. She's been in the business for 7+ years and is one of the top dogs. Yayzolles for me!

With Spring supposedly on it's way, we decided to do a massive Spring cleaning. You know the kind where you move your refrigerator, clean things people will never see? Yeah, it was one of those. The house looks amazing though and smells fantastic! However, a certain feline keeps tracking in his little paw prints on the counters. Oh MacGyver!

Here a bunch of photos over the past two weeks. Enjoy!!

Grandma Tutu is NOT Happy!

Grandma Tutu spoke with me yesterday and apparently I haven't been updating my blog enough. So here are a few pictures of Jack camping in his room to tie you all over until the next blog! Teeheehee! Love you, mommy!

Grin & Bear It Race

Today we participated in the Grin & Bear It race which is a 5K, 10K, and family 1 mile walk to raise money for the local charity Healthy Beginnings. I decided that since my running class is over, I need to participate more in races to keep me motivated to work out. We decided to do the 1 mile Family Fun walk. There were so many people there, I couldn't believe it! They had free organic fruit and pastries, coffee, water, hot chocolate, Jamba Juice... the works! Jack was a bit hard to keep focussed, but once the pretty girl behind the counter gave him a banana, he was a good boy. I feel great after our run/walk. We did a total of 2.24 miles.

Although it was supposed to be a 1 mile walk, Jack made it into 2.24 miles as he backtracked. Our phone's GPS tracked our movements.

Jack the Artist!

I've learned the hard way that when Jack is especially quiet when playing, it's him doing something naughty. Two weeks ago he was playing in my bedroom and decided to take my lipstick and attack the wall (which had to be repainted), my vanity, books, the cat, and the mattress. Then the other day I got him a pack of 500+ stickers which he decorated the cat, bookshelf, books, and carpet with. So, lesson of the month: quiet boys = naughty boys!!

Catching Up!

Now that I have my own little business ( www.passioneuphoria.com ) I've been ridiculously busy building my website, advertising, filling orders, etc. But, I wanted to fill you in with a few pictures of Jack from a few weeks ago. We went to Portland for a day trip to see my dear friend, Katie, from Chicago. We used to be roommates when we worked at Walt Disney World. She's one of my most loyal and dear friends, and when she told me she had a business trip in Portland, I had to drive to go see her (I don't fly!).

I had an amazing time with Katie. I got to meet her two little boys and we spent the day at Ikea. We got to talk about our hopes and fears, our beautiful sons, and just spend time together. I miss my friend. Thank you, Katie, for seeing me. I miss you tons.

Caution: MEN AT WORK!

The boys needed to make some repairs to our office chair, so they got out their man tools and got to work. I offered to help, but Jack made it very clear to me it was a no-girls zone. Sweet boys!!
